Hawaii Wg Pay Scale 2021 – The Federal Wage System (FWS) was created to ensure that the pay of Federal blue-collar workers depended on par with the dominating rates used by the private sector in each regional wage area.
Prior to the arrival of FWS, no central authority existed for establishing wage equity for Federal craft, trade, and laboring workers. President Johnson then purchased the previous Civil Service Commission in 1965 to deal with both labor companies and Federal companies to study the different firm systems and integrate them into a single, simply, and reasonable wage system.
